A Family Tree is a great way to visualise your ancestors. It is a chart which represents your family’s relationships in the form of a tree or orginsational chart. It starts with a root which sprouts branches and leaves, each leaf representing a person.
I have put together a list of a few websites which will help you on your way to researching your heritage and producing your family tree.
You may find some duplications in these sites and many more links and advice. You may find them useful or you may find the lists confusing.

GENUKI provides a virtual reference library of genealogical information of particular relevance to the UK and Ireland.
Family Search
This long running website is run on a completey free to use basis. It includes a massive database of genealogical records and allows you to build your own family tree. It's like a free version of Ancestry and the like.

Show a connector line between each icon, changes its color and style to fit your unique design.
Custom Styles
Easily customize every aspect of your list from widget styles but also you can give custom colors to each item as well.
