Discover Your Family Tree

Building a Family Tree is an exciting way to discover who your ancestors are. TV programmes such as “Who Do You Think You Are” have certainly drawn attention to the subject. But you don’t have to call on a team of historians and genealogists to trace your forebears.

There is plenty of help for you on the Internet if you know where to look. And it need not cost you a lot. There are plenty of free resources available to anyone who wants to look.

This website shows you where you can find some surprising and not so surprising pieces of information and how you can record and build your own family tree for future generations. Whilst I am not a trained genealogist I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge while tracing my own family tree back to the 17th century.

Good luck in your search and you never know who you may find!
